Junior Golf Programs & Information

SUMMER Time is Junior Golf Time!
Check back to see what's new.

Junior Golf Mission Statement:
Our mission for Junior Golf is to create a fun, empowering, positive learning environment so young golfers have an outlet to learn and improve their golf skills through expert instruction, relaxed and competitive practice, and a variety of activities for all skill levels.
We will ensure that the values and knowledge
gained will prepare the children to succeed in their personal and professional lives.

In an effort to provide the best golf experience for our junior golfers, we have designed several fun and creative learning opportunities. Our focus will be on the fundamentals of the game, both on the practice tee and the golf course. We are committed to Junior Golf and to bringing excitement to the kids and their overall enjoyment and appreciation of the game.

Where do I start?

Any golfer will tell you "We all had to start somewhere".  Thankfully, through contributions, there are a limited number of golf clubs any beginning junior may borrow on the day of their attending a clinic. There are a number of programs and times in the works. Contact Tracy anytime!

Which program is best for my child?

We try to separate junior golfers by their skills and abilities, not necessarily by their ages. There are "Levels" that each junior will be tested on. Being in a group that is beyond ones abilities might cause a negative affect on the junior golfer. We strive to have a fun and empowering environment. For a golfer to move up a level, they will pass a written test as well as a skills and abilities test. The tests are not to pressure, but make sure that our instruction is effective for each individual junior golfer.

Where is it held?

Unless specified, all my camps and clinics are located at The Great Outdoors Driving Range.

To get to the driving range.... You will have to stop at the guard building and show your picture ID and mention you are attending a golf clinic.  After you enter into the park (the speed drops to 15mph) take your first left on "Plantation". Drive an "S curve", right then left, on the left is a road called "Maint. Yard". Take that left and you will see the driving range parking.
