Junior Golf - "Level up!"
~~Note~~ Each golfer will improve and excel at their own pace, ability, and desire. Levels and tests aren't designed to hold students back, they are designed to offer insight to weaknesses and strengths. Each junior golfer is different and this personalizes the approach to developing the students' game.
Level 1 - Introduction to the Game of Golf
These golfers have had one year or less of experience. The objectives of the Level 1 Camps and Clinics are to have fun and introduce the main components of the game while being less technical. Fundamentals include how to hold a club, putting, chipping, full swing, and basic rules and etiquette. They will receive a workbook to assist in learning. Students can test their skills and knowledge to move into higher levels. We want to be able to take our new skills and abilities on the course. (Regular stroke play will not happen at this level but we believe it's important to take new golfers onto the course to use their learned skills.) |
