"Where Have You Been, Tracy?"

As I venture out into the 'golf world' again, I've been asked that question.

In a nutshell... I was (and still kinda-sorta am) going through a divorce.

We don't go into a marriage with the intent of divorcing. At least I didn't.

Life happens... people change... people hurt... and people get hurt.

I won't go into the details but I can say that I don't regret a moment of it. The entire experience, every moment of it, has molded me and changed me to be the woman I am today as I write this blog entry. When you read this post... I may be a different person (check the date of this and see how much older we ALL are).

Time changes everything. Time soothes. Fighting time, and the changes that inevitably accompany it, is a fruitless battle and tends to cause more harm than good.

In the end... I am grateful to the Higher Power for every blessing I've received, the blessings I will receive, and I'm more grateful for the blessings I don't know about. After all, those are the ones that, without my knowing, have kept me alive.

As I drove into the TGO parking lot the other day I saw all of the golf carts on a semi-trailer!

NEW.. Brand-spanking-new! (is that cliche from a baby being spanked upon birth?.. hmmmm).

My favorite part of them... The USB plugs! No more holding back on using my Golf app because I need battery.

I often suggest that my students go to YouTube to look up 'homework' or do an in-depth study of a skill that we've covered. For example: Working on alignment; if we can't get to the basics of alignment that in a lesson sometimes I'll suggest a bit of homework and online research.
